Meet Our Doctors and Physicians Assistants

  • H. Patrick Carr, MD, FACS

    Having been in private practice for over twenty five years, Dr. Carr brings a wide range of experience, a depth of knowledge, and a sense of humility to his practice of Otolaryngology. The son of an executive in a major American corporation, he spent his childhood living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Lansing, Michigan; Portland, Oregon; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated with honors from Rhodes College in Memphis where his field of interest was Biopsychology. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from The University of Tennessee with honors in Anatomy. A flexible internship followed with his time equally divided among Medicine, Surgery, and Pediatrics which included training at the Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital of Memphis. He completed his surgical training, including rotations in Neurosurgery in 1980. A diplomat of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Carr is board certified in the specialty of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.  Dr. Carr completed his residency at the University of Colorado where he served as the Chief Resident. His training included: microsurgery of the ear, head and neck cancer surgery, surgery of the nose and sinuses, voice surgery, hearing and balance training and facial plastic surgery.

    Dr. Carr is a member of the following societies: The American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, The American Medical Association, The Colorado Medical Society, The Denver Medical Society, and The Arapahoe County Medical Society. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He serves on the committee for the Colorado new candidates to the American College of Surgeons. He is the past president of the Summit View Surgery Center and past board member of the Mountain Medical Affiliates, PPO. He is currently on the credentials committee of the Lincoln Surgery Center.

    He was voted by his fellow physicians in 5280 Magazine as one of the best Otolaryngologists in Denver and received the same honor from Channel 9 News and the Denver Post Magazine.

    Dr. Carr is happily married and is the father of three daughters. He taught Children's Chapel and served as a Chalice Minister at his church. His hobbies include: fly fishing, skiing and cycling. He enjoys playing guitar (not very well), traveling, and reading. His volunteer work has been with the Rose Cleft Palate Clinic.

  • Timothy F. Pingree, MD

    Dr. Timothy Pingree brings a wealth of medical, surgical and leadership experience to Integrated Ear, Nose and Throat.  His early years were spent in Boston, Massachusetts; Boulder, Colorado; Ithaca, New York; and Walnut Creek, California.  He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a B.S. Degree in Microbiology.  Dr. Pingree spent two years in Spain serving a religious mission.  He obtained his M.D. degree from the University of Utah in 1987, where he served as student body president.

    Dr. Pingree completed his surgical residency in 1992 at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio.  His training included general Otolaryngology, Otology, Facial Plastic Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, and Pediatric Otolaryngology.  Since 1992, Dr. Pingree has lived in Denver.  Dr. Pingree is board certified in the specialty of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.  His expertise is in general ear, nose, and throat conditions, particularly with sinonasal and allergy inflammation disorders, voice disorders, and hearing and balance problems.  His facial plastic expertise includes all traditional facial plastic surgery procedures along with non-surgical techniques such as laser resurfacing, chemical peels and fillers. 

    Dr. Pingree is a member of the following associations:  American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, American Medical Association, American Rhinologic Society, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, Colorado Medical Society, Denver Medical Society, and Arapahoe Medical Society. 

    Aside from medicine and surgery, Dr. Pingree is happily married and is the father of three sons and one daughter.  He enjoys music, training for triathlons, and he loves to travel.

  • Clark W. Walker, MD, FACS

    Clark W. Walker

    Dr. Walker is an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.  He has extensive experience in all aspects of Head and Neck Surgery.  He has particular interest in surgery for restoration of hearing, thyroid and neck surgery, sinus surgery, and facial cosmetic surgery.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

    Dr. Walker enjoys a busy private practice in Lone Tree (South Denver) Colorado.  His practice is located at the Sky Ridge Medical Center where he serves as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery.

    Dr. Walker was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and received his Bachelor’s degree in biology, with emphasis in neurobiology, from the University of Utah.  He received his medical and surgical training through the military.  He attended medical school in Bethesda, Maryland at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, graduation in 1990 and was commissioned a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.  He completed his internship in General Surgery at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. He then served for two years as a General Medical Officer on the U.S.S. Carl Vinson (CVN-70), a nuclear aircraft carrier.  Following this, he served as Battalion Surgeon for the 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton, California.

    After serving at sea and with the Marines, Dr. Walker completed residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia from 1994 to 1998.  He was the Chief Resident from 1997 to 1998.  He was honored as an outstanding teacher during his residency.

    From 1998 to 2004 Dr. Walker served as a Staff Otolaryngologist at the Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, Illinois.  He was the Otolaryngology Department Head and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Medical Staff.  He also served as Director for Surgical Services during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He held appointments as a Clinical Assistant Professor at two Chicago area medical schools.  After leaving active military service he continued serving in the Naval Reserve.

    In July of 2011 he retired after 25 years of active and reserve service in the United States Navy at the rank of Captain (0-6).

    Dr. Walker has lectured nationally and internationally on examination of the ear.  He continues to give annual instruction at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.  He is an attending physician for rotating medical and physician assistant students who frequently accompany him in his practice.

    He is married and has four children.  Dr. Walker enjoys blues music, is a former Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, and is an avid outdoorsman.

  • Phillip B. Whiting, MD

    Dr. Phillip Whiting

    Dr. Phillip Whiting is a Colorado native and is happy to be back in Colorado.  He was raised in rural eastern Utah where he attained his associate’s degree while in high school from Utah State University.  He then completed two years as missionary for the LDS church in Seoul, Korea and is fluent in Korean.  He then obtained a BS in Physiology from Brigham Young University where he was on the deans list.  He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, TX where he won a medical student research award for his clinical research.  Additionally, Dr. Whiting was inducted into the prestigious medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha as well as being recognized for his service by being nominated to the Gold Humanism in Medicine Society.  Dr. Whiting completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School where he was trained by some of the best faculty in head and neck oncology, neurotology, pediatric otolaryngology, sinus surgery, and voice/swallowing disorders.  During training Dr. Whiting published journal articles and book chapters on head and neck diseases and management.  Dr. Whiting is trained in all aspects of otolaryngology but has a special interest in thyroid/parathyroid disorders, ear/hearing disorders, sinus/allergy, and voice/swallowing problems.  Dr. Whiting enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, competing in ironman distance triathlons, reading, and traveling.

  • Dana Biebel, MPA, PA-C

    Dana is a certified Physician Assistant. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as Academy of Physician Assistants in Otolaryngology. Dana has worked in the specialties of otolaryngology, facial plastic surgery, facial aesthetics, and allergy for nearly 10 years.

    She has extensive experience in non-surgical facial cosmetic procedures including injections, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser, and IPL treatments. She specializes in facial fillers such as Radiesse, Restylane, Juvederm, Belotero, and Voluma; as well as neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport.

    She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dana received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota with a major in History and minors in both Social Sciences and Biblical Studies. She also studied biology and chemistry at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

    Dana was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Her personal interests include horticulture, travel, interior design, and spending time with her family.

  • Melinda "Mindy" J Jordeth, PA-C

    Melinda JordethMelinda is a certified Physician Assistant. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as Academy of Physician Assistants in Otolaryngology.

    She is a proud Colorado native who grew up in Denver where she attended George Washington High School. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Science at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Mindy received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine.

    Mindy chose to work with our ENT clinic because she enjoys the variety and balance in managing both acute and chronic cases as well as the long-term relationships it enables her to build with patients and their families.

    Outside of the office she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and son, hiking, fishing, reading, and watching the Denver Broncos.
