Ear, Nose and Throat
Integrated Ear, Nose and Throat is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the head and neck, including particularly the ears, nose, and throat. ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) doctors are, officially, otolaryngologists.
Otolaryngology (pronounced oh/toe/lair/in/goll/oh/jee) is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Doctors that carry this title are trained in the medical and surgical management of patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and other related structures of the head and neck.
Our skills include diagnosing and managing diseases of the sinuses, oral cavity, larynx (voice box), upper pharynx (mouth and throat), and structures of the neck and face. We diagnose, treat, and manage disorders in children and adults.
What Does Integrated ENT Treat?
The Ears – We are trained in both the medical and surgical treatment of hearing, ear infections, balance disorders, tinnitus, nerve pain, facial disorders, and nerve disorders.
The Nose – Management of the nasal area includes allergies, sinusitis, sense of smell, breathing capabilities, and the external appearance of the nose.
The Throat – We manage and treat diseases of the larynx (voice box), the upper aerodigestive tract, voice, and swallowing disorders.
The Head and Neck – We are trained to treat infectious diseases, both benign and malignant (cancerous) tumors, facial trauma, and deformities of the face. We also perform both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
