Our physicians along with our very qualified allergy technician have extensive training in the diagnosis, testing, and treatment of allergies. We can help you find welcome relief from the following symptoms that may be caused by an often inherited allergy condition:
Hay Fever
Sneezing
Runny Nose
Nasal stuffiness
Itchy, watery eyes
Hives
There are three basic, accepted approaches to allergy care: Avoidance of the offending allergens, medications and allergy shots or desensitization. To pinpoint the cause of your allergies, we use the most advanced testing methods available. We recommend the appropriate test based on your symptoms and give you the results during the same office visit. You can then begin your treatment immediately.
Sublingual Immunotherapy - Allergy Drops
We're pleased to offer our patients allergy immunotherapy that you can take at home. It's called sublingual immunotherapy or allergy drops. Allergy drops work similar to allergy shots, slowly desensitizing you to the substance that causes your allergic reactions. The difference is that the antigen is placed under your tongue in liquid form. Not only are allergy drops more convenient, research shows they are safe and effective for people of all ages.
What are the advantages of allergy drops?
Lower cost, fewer clinic visits.
More convenient- you can take allergy drops at home or wherever you need to be.
Less Medication- most patients find they need less medication to control symptoms after beginning allergy drops
