Timothy F. Pingree, MD

The Healer’s Art

As an ear, nose and throat physician I am trained to diagnose and treat the complex medical and surgical issues that confront the head and neck region. However, the healing process also requires an emotional connection facilitated by empathic listening. I relish the process of working with patients to identify and treat the cause(s) of a problem, not just the outward symptoms, thus maximizing their chances of healing.

Dr. Timothy Pingree brings a wealth of medical, surgical and leadership experience to Integrated Ear, Nose and Throat.  His early years were spent in Boston, Massachusetts; Boulder, Colorado; Ithaca, New York; and Walnut Creek, California.  He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a B.S. Degree in Microbiology.  Dr. Pingree spent two years in Spain serving a religious mission.  He obtained his M.D. degree from the University of Utah in 1987, where he served as student body president.

Dr. Pingree completed his surgical residency in 1992 at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio.  His training included general Otolaryngology, Otology, Facial Plastic Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, and Pediatric Otolaryngology.  Since 1992, Dr. Pingree has lived in Denver.  Dr. Pingree is board certified in the specialty of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.  His expertise is in general ear, nose, and throat conditions, particularly with sinonasal and allergy inflammation disorders, voice disorders, and hearing and balance problems.  His facial plastic expertise includes all traditional facial plastic surgery procedures along with non-surgical techniques such as laser resurfacing, chemical peels and fillers.

Dr. Pingree is a member of the following associations:  American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, American Medical Association, American Rhinologic Society, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, Colorado Medical Society, Denver Medical Society, and Arapahoe Medical Society.

Aside from medicine and surgery, Dr. Pingree is happily married and is the father of three sons and one daughter.  He enjoys music, training for triathlons, and he loves to travel.
